Krysta Scimeca
DVM – Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Krysta Scimeca (“sha-make-a”; Sicilian) was born and raised in New Jersey, with an innate ability to either provide or create a peaceful, comfortable, and healing space for any and every animal she encountered. Her first patients were the squirrel and chipmunk prey of her childhood cat, Keiko. Upon learning veterinary medicine was a career path, Krysta knew that was her calling from God. Advocacy for the voiceless was effortless after overcoming vast adversities from a young age. Dr. Krysta graduated from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020, settled on Oahu shortly after, and moved to Maui in August 2023. Dr. Krysta is getting her sports-pilot license in order to offer more urgent care options to remote, rural communities like Hana and Moloka’i.
Kris (a.k.a. Kiki) O’Shea
Practice Manager
Kiki O’Shea grew up in Oregon surrounded by animals of all kinds, cats, dogs, horses, goats, bunnies, and geese, fostering a lifelong love for their care and well-being. She attended Portland State University and spent many years as an event manager for Fortune 50 companies, including HP, Intel, Nike, and most recently Amazon. Seeking a life more connected to purpose and nature, Kiki and her husband moved to Oʻahu, where they lived aboard a sailboat with dreams of sailing the world. That journey led them to Molokaʻi, where they fell in love, sold the boat, purchased land, and built their home. Now tending to the land alongside an ever-growing family of farm animals, cats, and dogs, Kiki joined Infinity Vet in late 2025 after stepping away from corporate life to return to what fills her soul, caring for animals.
