Aloha Infinity Vet ‘Ohana!

Welcome to our February newsletter, where we continue to inspire our clients to be the best advocates for their furry family members. Mahalo for your continued support and for trusting us with your pets’ health. We’re honored to serve you across Hana, Lahaina, and Molokai.

Here’s what’s happening this month:

Practice Highlights

  • Current patient count: 1,175 pets across our three service locations
  • Digital Updates: Please check your pet’s records for accuracy, especially concerning vaccinations. We will be transitioning to a new software system starting March 1st to more effortlessly receive and address you and your animal’s needs.
  • Billing & Records: If you have completed a work-trade agreement or submitted a payment but still receive a billing reminder, please reach out so we can update your account. Your communication is essential in keeping our system accurate. Mahalo!

The Importance of Dental Care

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has dedicated February as National Pet Dental Health Month. Periodontal disease  is the most common disease affecting older animals.

We aim to raise your awareness so you can improve the health of your animal’s teeth without the need for a Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT/Dental). Many dogs and cats need a comprehensive dental to establish a clean slate to move forward with. Many times disease exists below the gumline which can only be seen with dental Xrays.

Practical Tips

Scheduling an initial exam with Infinity Vet for just $70 provides a valuable opportunity to get a status of your pet’s dental health, in addition to their overall health. This enables telehealth visits throughout the year, offering peace of mind whenever your pet may need medical attention. Don’t hesitate—call us today to secure your appointment!

Dental Products

We only trust products tested and provenly affected by the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC).

Our best recommendation is the enzymatic toothpaste to work up to tooth-brushing. We recommend our clients spend about a month with the toothpaste on their fingers before starting to use a toothbrush. You should be able to touch all the teeth in your animal’s mouth before transitioning to a toothbrush.

Use the toothpaste as a treat! Make the experience a bonding opportunity for you and your pet. Small dogs and cats will require a small pet toothbrush, otherwise a child’s or regular toothbrush with semi-firm to firm bristles will work.

Community Support: Supporting Pets in Need

As we embark on this new year, remember that veterinary care can be a challenge for some families. Consider giving back by contributing to our partnered nonprofit, which supports medical care for pets in need.

  • Our partnered non-profit, Compassionate Animal Resources Everywhere (C.A.R.E.), received it’s official EIN number 32-0839665. Bank account will be opened Monday and shared once the nonprofit receives its tax-exempt status in the upcoming weeks. Our first goal will be to establish a fully equipped $200,000 mobile surgical van/ambulance on Molokai. Reach out to 808-463-1838 with any questions.
  • Donate to our future patients who cannot afford veterinary care: https://infinityvet.donation.mybaltofoundation.org/
  • Support our Molokai community fund: GoFundMe for Pet Medical Needs
  • Or create your own campaign for your pet’s medical needs: Create Your Campaign

Your generosity helps ensure that pets receive the necessary medical care within our communities.

  • We found and incorporated a new AI receptionist, Aulani, to better answer any and all of our clients needs. This will seamlessly transition us into our new operating system, Retrevr, starting March 1, 2026. Stay tuned for more details.
  • We found and launched our ONLINE PHARMACY!! Please go online to https://infinityvet.covetruspharmacy.com/ to make your account and request ANY and all prescriptions needs now or in the future. This is the highest quality assurance that we know our patients are getting the best product with the most competitive price on the market.
